Assam on Wednesday registered 15 more COVID19 positive cases taking the state total to 79.
Confirming this, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the infected persons have been detected in Guwahati.
Health minister Sarma also informed that all the positive cases are related to the patient (Mungru Sahani), who tested positive in the Fancy Bazar area of the city.
Urging the people not to panic, the health minister said all of the patients have been under quarantine.
They were put under quarantine as they had come into the contact of Mungru Sahani, a border of Hotel Rajkamal at Fancy Bazar.
