At least 13 people have tested positive for COVID19 in Delhi Lt. Governor Anil Baijal’s office in the national capital on Tuesday.

As per reports, the first COVID19 positive case was detected at the extended branch of the Lt Governor’s office, after which 13 more people were confirmed to be COVID19 positive, say reports.

A number of people working in central government offices have tested positive for COVID19 in the last two months.

Delhi is the third worst-affected region in the country which registered a total of 20,384 COVID19 positive cases till Tuesday.

A total of 8,746 people have recovered in the state so far, whereas the death toll climbed to 523 in the national capital on Tuesday, according to the Union Health Ministry.

Meanwhile, India on Tuesday registered 8,171 more COVID19 cases and 204 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.

With the total number of COVID19 cases rising every single day, India so far has registered a total of 1,98,706 cases.

The number of active COVID19 cases in the country is 97,581 and a total of 95,527people have been cured or discharged from hospitals so far.

The death toll due to COVID19 in the country is 5,598 so far.

Furthermore, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, and Gujarat are the top 4 states/UTs with the highest number of COVID19 cases.
