Guwahati: The traffic department in Guwahati, Assam has released a fresh advisory for vehicular movement in light of the ongoing foundation work for the Cycle Factory Flyover.
Effective August 19, 2024, until further notice, changes to routes and traffic regulations will be implemented to facilitate the extension of the flyover from Cycle Factory to Barsapara Junction.

To minimize disruptions, the traffic police have announced several measures.
The stretch between Birubari Tiniali and Barsapara Tiniali will be converted into a one-way route, allowing vehicles from Arya Nagar/Birubari Tiniali to proceed towards Barsapara Tiniali.

Once the initial work is completed, a portion of the stretch will be reopened for two-way traffic from Birubari Tiniali to Cycle Factory.

Vehicles travelling from Lalganesh towards Cycle Factory will be diverted at Barsapara Tiniali through Kula Basumatary Road, ACA Stadium, and onto A.K. Dev Road, where they can access NH-27 or proceed towards Ambari Tiniali/Fatasil Chariali.
Motorists are advised to follow these guidelines to ensure seamless traffic flow during the construction period.
