Guwahati: Another restaurant in Guwahati, Assam was sealed by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) on Saturday night during a surprise raid.
According to reports, the restaurant named Grilled Panda, located on Zoo Road allegedly had inadequate licensing and health violations.

The restaurant was found to have been operating for years without proper authorisation and licences.
It was also found to have been preparing food in unsanitary conditions outside its kitchen.

The GMC discovered that Grilled Panda was running with only a basic license, which falls short of regulatory requirements for restaurants of its scale.
The owner of Grilled Panda claimed the actions were a targeted conspiracy and that similar establishments in the area were not inspected.
