Guwahati: Actor and performer Nora Fatehi sustained minor injuries after being involved in a car accident on Link Road in suburban Amboli, Mumbai on Friday afternoon, police officials confirmed.
The incident took place while she was on her way to the Sunburn music festival for a scheduled appearance.
Authorities have arrested 27-year-old Vinay Sakpal, whose vehicle allegedly collided with the car in which Nora was travelling.
Police suspect that the accused was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
An insider shared, “Nora Fatehi was involved in an unfortunate accident en route to the Sunburn Festival for her scheduled performance with David Guetta, when a drunk driver rammed into her car.” She was immediately taken for medical evaluation, with her team rushing her to the nearest hospital for a CT scan to rule out internal injuries or hemorrhage.
While the initial reports described the injury as minor, the insider confirmed that Nora had suffered a slight concussion.
She was discharged after a medical check-up.
Despite medical advice to rest, Nora Fatehi attended her scheduled appearance at Sunburn 2025 and later performed at the music festival in South Mumbai alongside American DJ David Guetta.
The accident comes shortly after Nora made her US television debut on The Jimmy Fallon Show, performing her song What Do I Know? (Just a Girl) with Jamaican singer Shenseea.
