Altogether 82,031 students will appear in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE).

The SSLC Examinations will commence from March 4-16 and the HSSLC Examinations will be held from March 2-25.

There are 51,334 students, including 28,412 females and 22,922 males, who will appear in the SSLC Examinations at 143 examination centres including 83 in the Shillong region, and 60 in the Tura region.

In the HSSLC Examinations, 30,697 students will appear in four streams – Arts, Science, Commerce, and Vocational.

In the Arts stream, there are 24,867 students including 14,188 females and 10,679 males.

In the Science stream, there are 3,615 students including 1,649 males and 1,966 females.

In the Commerce stream, there are 2,203 students including 1,317 male, and 886 females, who are appearing in the HSSLC Examinations conducted by MBoSE in Meghalaya.

In the Vocational course, only a few students are appearing in the HSSLC Examination. There are 12 students, including 6 males and 6 females, who will sit in the examinations.

The HSSLC Examinations will be conducted at 103 centres including 64 in the Shillong region, and 39 in the Tura region.
