In a statement on Wednesday, Dr Chingthung Mary Thomas said: “Such situations caused a lot of inconveniences at the time of the frisking as well as in the examination room to the functionaries of the examination centre.”
The Board viewed such cases seriously and in order to prevent such cases, the Board has decided that all the candidates appearing in the examination are directed to arrive at the examination centres well ahead of the commencement of the examination.
It also said the candidates, who arrive at the examination centres after 9 am, shall be detained for proper frisking before entering into the examination room.
