Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday felicitated Raktim Bhuyan who topped the Assam HSLC Examination 2018, at his office chamber in Janata Bhawan.
Raktim Bhuyan, a student of Moonlight High School, Tezpur of Sonitpur District secured an aggregate mark of 593 and secured the top rank.

Sonowal congratulated Raktim and felicitated him with a gamocha. Sonowal alsotook note of Raktim’s grit and resolve and hailed his achievement with high degree of admiration. He also wished Raktim luck for his future studies.
The Chief Minister handed out a cheque worth Rs. 1,00000 to Raktim and congratulated his parents Bharat Bhuyan and Baby Bhuyan and his teachers for their efforts in enabling Raktim to top the rank holders’ list and made his alma mater proud of his achievement.
