Despite huge financial loss, DTH operator Tata Sky has come up with a lucrative offer for its mobile app subscribers.
The Mobile app subscribers of Tata Sky will now get additional Hungama Music premium content access for free.
Active subscribers of Tata Sky Music and Tata Sky Music+ will get Hungama Music Pro subscription, which is worth Rs. 99 per month, totally free.
Hungama Music offers access to 15 million songs and music videos. And Hungama Music Pro subscription offers an ad-free HD-quality audio-video streaming experience.
It also offers unlimited offline downloads and unlimited streaming of full-length music videos.
Tata Sky has reported a net loss of Rs 234 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2020 compared to a net profit of Rs 364 crore in the previous fiscal.
The DTH platform’s operating income in FY20 stood at Rs 4691 crore. In the previous fiscal, the operating income was Rs 6113 crore.
With the new Hungama Music Pro subscription, Tata Sky Mobile app users with active Tata Sky Music and Music+ subscription will get premium features like an ad-free experience and unlimited offline downloads.
The new Hungama Music Pro subscription can be activated only by Tata Sky Music and Tata Sky Music+ subscribers.
These subscribers need to click on the music content listings on the home page of the Tata Sky mobile app.
Tata Sky Music and Tata Sky Music+ subscribers will be redirected to the Hungama Music app with Pro subscription assigned automatically.
