As singer and music director Papon turned 44 on Tuesday, the day which coincides with the birthday of great Ahom commander Lachit Borphukan, several members of the Indian music industry wished their inspiration, love and happiness.
Angarag Papon Mahanta, popularly known as Papon, founder of the folk-fusion band Papon and The East India Company has been wooing audiences for the last two decades with his soulfoul music.
Many artistes and followers on Tuesday took to twitter to shower him with birthday wishes.
