Xiaomi Redmi which launched a number of new smartphones in October is now set to launch more phones in 2020, and one of them will feature a 108-megapixel camera sensor.
The company has planned a lot of new launches under its Redmi Note 9 line-up. The Chinese microblogging website Weibo thas revealed that the company would launch new phones under the series before moving on to the Redmi Note 10 series.
One of the three phones will flaunt the new ISOCELL HM2 sensor by Samsung that was launched earlier in the year.
The smartphone sensor will come with 0.7 micrometer pixel size and a 108-megapixel lens. It will be the first Redmi phone to be launched with a 108-megapixel sensor.
Xiaomi has a number of new phones with 108-megapixel sensor. But, none of the smart phones were under the Redmi brand, which is extremely popular in India.
There were reports that Xiaomi may soon launch its Redmi Note 10 series smart phones globally. The Redmi Note 10 series would definitely be a big upgrade, reports had suggested.
It was also claimed that the higher-end variant of the Redmi Note 10 will come equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 750G processor.
It was reported that the Redmi Note 10 will feature a 108-megapixel primary sensor, as well as pack a 4800mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
Meanwhile, it is presumed that the cheaper variants of Redmi Note 10 will get a 48-megapixel main sensor, and the processor powering will be running MediaTek’s Dimensity 720 5G chipset.
