Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro along with Realme Band was launched in India on Thursday at an online event.
Announcing the launch, company’s India CEO Madhav Sheth apologised for cancelling the launch event because of coronavirus scare.
“The Realme 6 series is the biggest series upgrade, ever and both phones are being made in India,” Sheth said.
“Both Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro will be offered online and offline at the same time. And in the coming weeks and months, the phones will also reach China, Europe, South-East Asia, and parts of Africa,” Sheth said.
The Realme 6 comes as the successor of the Realme 5 Pro while the Realme 6 Pro takes over from the Realme X.
The Realme 6 Pro is the first smartphone with a 120Hz display and both smartphones have quad rear cameras and a punch-hole design on the display.
Customers will have an option to chose Realme 6 in three variants- 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.
The first variant will cost Rs 12,999. The second model is priced at Rs 14,999, and the third variant will cost Rs 15,999 in India.
It will come in Comet Blue and Comet White colours.
The Realme 6 Pro wil also have three variants- 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB and will respectively cost Rs 16,999, Rs 17,999, and Rs 18,999 in India.
The Realme 6 Pro will have two colour options- Lightning Orange and Lightning Blue.
Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro will be available for purchase from March 11 and March 13 respectively both offline and on online platforms- Flipkart and realme.com
