Electronics, the largest electronics store in Guwahati, was launched to provide the people of the city a ‘one-stop solution’ for a variety of electronic goods and home appliances.

The store is housed in an area spreading across 8,000 sq ft.

“The Walk Inn” is a plush new marketplace located in G.S. Road and is a breakthrough initiative to set new benchmarks in the way consumers interact and purchase home appliances in the city.

Opened on Sunday, Electrocity has the most comprehensive array of products ranging from brands like LG, Oppo, Mi, Godrej, Vivo, Panasonic, Nokia, Lloyd and Samsung, said a press communiqué.

All products are showcased under their respective brands in a format that simulates a shop-in-shop scenario with well trained and knowledgeable staff on hand.

The categories Electrocity caters to include – Phones, Entertainment, Home Appliance, Kitchen Appliance and Accessories.

The customers can also try and get a leisurely feel of the products prior to purchasing the product.

Electrocity intends to follow and exceed the best global business industry practices which will deliver a true world class retail environment. It aims to provide customer post-sales support facilities as well.

Gaurav Chandak, proprietor of Electrocity said the idea behind the venture is to provide “a one-stop solution to the people”.

“Here, the people can choose from a wide number of options as we follow the shop-in-shop concept and have separate segments for each brand,” he stated.

Chandak also said they aim to add 30 more brands to their bucket and will expand their presence all across the Northeast.

Talking about the inception of Electrocity, Chandak said, “It took us one year to bring our idea into reality. Guwahati is developing at a rapid state, thus, an electronic store which can cater to every need of the people was necessary.”

“We aim to make Electrocity the biggest electronic store in Northeast India,” he added.
