Kia’s designers aimed to create a fresh and unique look for the K4. They achieved this through a concept they call “Twist Logic,” which involves unexpectedly manipulating logically aligned squares. This design philosophy is evident in other recent Kia releases like the Carnival, EV5, and EV9.
The K4 features sharp L-shaped vertical LED headlights flanking a small “tiger nose” grille at the front. The roofline slopes gently towards a large rear windscreen, giving the sedan a sporty liftback-coupe appearance. The L-shaped theme continues at the back with taillights that echo the headlight design. Diamond-cut alloy wheels add a touch of modern flair, while the rear door handles are cleverly integrated into the C-pillar for a clean look.
Inside the cabin, the K4 comes with a base Slate Green theme, but Kia promises additional interior color options including Canyon Brown, Onyx Black, and Medium Gray. Interestingly, the driver’s and passenger’s side doors will feature different color combinations, adding a touch of personality.

A dual-screen display takes center stage on the dashboard, with a few physical buttons and a rotary controller for ease of use. The two-spoke steering wheel has a flattened top and bottom and features a prominent Kia emblem. More details on features and specifications are expected closer to the launch date.
The Kia K4 is set for its official unveiling on March 27 at the New York Auto Show.
The sedan is expected to hit the US market later this year, where it will compete with established players like the Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, and Hyundai Elantra.
While the K4 won’t be coming to India, Kia is focusing its efforts on introducing a new sub-4-meter SUV called the Clavis. This vehicle will slot between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia’s India lineup, catering to the popular SUV segment in the Indian market.
