Qualification : The minimum education qualification for the Post of Matron is HSLC Passed.
Job Roles :
The duties and responsibilities of the Matron shall be governed by the Hostel Rules of Assam
Women’s University and also directives of the Hostel Management Committee, Chief Warden
and Warden of the hostel and she shall ensure compliance of it.
Selection Procedure :
Candidates may appear for a walk-in-interview at 10:00 AM on 16.02.2026 at the Community Hall, Assam Women’s University, Rowriah, Jorhat–04.
