Rubber Board Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Young Professionals-Extension Services. The Rubber Board is a statutory body constituted by the Government of India, under the Rubber Act 1947, for the overall development of the rubber industry in the country. The functions as defined under the Act includes promotion by such measures as it thinks fit the development of the rubber industry. It is also responsible for training students in improved methods of planting, cultivation, manuring and spraying. It is also responsible for the supply of technical advice to rubber growers and improve the marketing of rubber. The Board also maintains collection of statistics from owners of estates, dealers and manufacturers of rubber. The Board is also responsible for securing better working conditions and the provision and improvement of amenities and incentives to workers.

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry OR Master’s degree in Botany or Plant Science from a recognized University
Stipend : Rs. 40000/- per month
