Pawan Hans Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Associate Helicopter Pilot on contract basis. Pawan Hans Limited is a premier Central Public Sector Enterprise and India’s largest Helicopter Company under the administrative control of Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Over a period, PHL has logged more than 1 Million Flying hours and Lakhs of Landings and also plans to become a 100 Helicopter company by 2027. Further to strengthen its core business, Pawan Hans is diversifying into the fields of small Fixed Wing Aircrafts, Training & Skill Development, Safety Audit & Consultancy, Foreign Projects and creation of infrastructure such as Heliports and Helipads as well. The states that have commissioned PHL as consultants for developing 31 heliport include Himachal, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh Assam and Manipur.

Eligibility Criteria :
Helicopter Pilots holding CHPL / ATPL (H) with endorsement on Dauphin-N, Dauphin-N3, Mi-172, AS-350B3 & Bell-407 helicopters. Preference will be given to Examiners & Instructors.
Desirous qualified / licensed SPO Qualified Indian / Expat Pilots holding current & valid license with endorsement on AS-350B3 & Bell-407 helicopters may also apply.
Desirous qualified / licensed Indian / Expat Pilots holding current & valid license with endorsement on Mi-172, AS-350B3, Bell-407Sikorsky S-76D & S-76C++ helicopters may also apply.
The appointment of Expat pilots will, however, be subject to approval of Competent Authority as per the Government of India / DGCA Rules.
