National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Research Personnel positions or career under various projects on temporary basis. National Remote Sensing Centre is one of the primary centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space. NRSC has the mandate for establishment of ground stations for receiving satellite data, generation of data products, dissemination to the users, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster management support, geospatial services for good governance and capacity building for professionals, faculty and students. NRSC operates through multiple campuses to meet national and regional remote sensing data and applications needs of the country.

Research Scientist (RS) : Level 10 (Rs. 56,100/-) in the Pay Matrix (as per VII CPC) + Dearness Allowance and HRA(if not provided with accommodation)
Project Scientist-I : Rs. 56,000/- per month + HRA
Project Scientist-B : Rs. 56,000/- per month + HRA
Project Associate-I : Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA
Project Associate-II : Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) : The Junior Research Fellows (JRF) shall be paid Rs. 37,000/- per month with a possibility to be increased to Rs. 42,000/- as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) after two years upon successful completion and review of research work of the previous two years by a review committee.
