National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Technical Assistant for the TIH-IIT Guwahati-sponsored project entitled “Design, Development, and Testing of Sediment Erosion- Resistive Micro-Hydro Turbine for off-grid application.” The vision of NIT Silchar is establishing unique identity by development of high quality human and knowledge resources in diverse areas of technologies to meet local, national, and global economic and social need and human society at large in self-sustained manner. Essential Qualification :
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related branch.
Desirable Qualification : Experience/Knowledge in the design/analysis of solar hydrokinetic turbines. B.Tech./B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related branch.
Salary : Rs. 20000/- per month
Age Limit : 50 years (as of the closing date of application)
The age of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates is relaxable as per Government of India Rules and Regulations
