National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Science
and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India, sponsored project entitled “Engineered superhydrophobic biomass-derived organocatalysts for biodiesel production: Process optimization using response surface methodology, kinetic studies and cost-analysis.” The project duration is 03(Three) years or till Completion of the Project, whichever is earlier (extension of
selected candidates would be based on performance review every 12 months). National Institute Of Technology, Silchar is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology of India and was established in 1967 as a Regional Engineering College in Assam. In 2002 it was upgraded to the status of National Institute of Technology and was declared as Institute of National Importance under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007.
