Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Associate Project Engineer on contractual basis under the project titled “National Initiative for Setting up Design Innovation Center (DIC)” at the Department of Design. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati commenced in 1995. At present the Institute has eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and also five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines

Essential Qualification :
Master’s Degree in Engineering/ Design with a 1st Class or equivalent grade of minimum 60% and minimum 1 year of work experience in any sponsored R&D project or any industry.
Desirables:
- Travelling and attending meetings as per project requirement
- Preparation of posters and exhibiting posters and prototypes during exhibition
- Experience in record keeping, preparation of Statement of Expenditure and also Utilization of budget
- Project report preparation
