Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Project Associate-I in the project entitled, “Socioeconomic development through natural dye based eri silk entrepreneurship among ethnic
communities in Nagaon, Morigaon and Karbi Anglong districts of Assam” at the Centre for
Environment. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, was established in 1994. The academic programme of IIT Guwahati altogether commenced in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools covering all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupied a place among the top 100 world universities.

Qualification : MSc. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences or Food Technology or Environmental Science.
Selection Procedure :
A walk-in-interview will be held on 18 June 2024 (Tuesday) at 10.00AM in Conference Room, Env, IIT Guwahati, Assam
Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview. Candidates will also not be sent any call letter separately

Candidates have to appear in the Walk in Interview along with an application/CV on plain paper giving details of all educational qualifications, experience, contact address, phone no., E – mail etc. and submit photocopies of relevant documents at the time of interview
