Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post or career of Associate Project Engineer in the project entitled “Design and Development of a Demonstration Plant for production of Marketable Grade Green Activated Carbon from Bamboo Dust” at the Department of Chemical Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, the sixth member of the IIT fraternity, came into being in 1994. IIT Guwahati started its academic programme in 1995. At present the Institute also has altogether eleven departments, seven inter-disciplinary academic centres and five schools. It covers all the major engineering , science, healthcare, management and humanities disciplines. Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati’s campus is altogether on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kms from the heart of the city Guwahati. IIT Guwahati is also the only academic institution in India that occupies a place among the top 100 world universities.
