Tezpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Associate-I in 2026 in the IITG-TIDF sponsored research project entitled “Experimental characteristics and thermo-mechanical analysis of underwater friction stir welded AI Alloys for submerged marine applications” under the Principal Investigator of Dr. Prabin Haloi, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.

Essential Qualification:
Master’s Degree (M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Technology / Production Engineering / Material Science / Metallurgy / Aerospace Engineering / Automobile Engineering/ Ocean and Naval Architecture / Applied Mechanics / Civil Engineering, or any allied area. The candidates having research experience will get preference.
Age: Candidates shall not be more than 35 years of age on the last date of receipt of application. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India rules.
Emolument: Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) only + HRA as admissible per month.
