In a successful operation, a joint team of the Indian Army and police apprehended a miscreant with arms on Wednesday night at around 9:30 pm from Dhansiri under Diphu police station of Karbi Anglong district of Assam.
The miscreant has been identified as one Horima Khersa, aged around 25 years, son of Debanol Khersa and resident of Dhansiri.
A .22 mm pistol, one magazine and six rounds of ammunition were recovered from him.
