Indie pop musician from Nepal, Bipul Chetri, and Lydia Henrikje of Germany and The Bluegrass Journeymen from USA will perform at the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music.

The fifth edition of the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music (OFAM) will be held at Dambuk in Lower Dibang Valley district of Arunachal Pradesh from December 15.

The four day adventure and music extravaganza will be inaugurated by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu along with DCM Chowna Mein and JK Tyres & Industries managing director Vikram Malhotra.

The festival will witness performances from bands like Swedish band Thunder Mother along with tribute band The Iron Maidens, reports The Arunachal Times.

OFAM director Abu Tayeng said that this year Mahindra will be performing their ‘Live Young Live Free’ campaign at Dambuk during the festival.

National Institute of Mountaineering & Allied Sports (NIMAS), Dirang of West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh will conduct supervised adventure sports like white water rafting, dirt cycling, ATV rides, parasailing, para-motoring, paragliding, scuba diving etc.

The biggest event among adventure sports will be Orange 4×4 Fury which will be held in the dense rainforest of the state. It presents unique challenges in the natural form where man and machine are pitted against nature.

For the Orange 4×4 Fury event, 30 off-roaders including seven non-resident Indians from London, Dubai and the USA are participating.

Tayeng said that the entry fees and food prices at the festival venue would be minimal.
