Arunachal Pradesh is all set to get its first planetarium on Saturday.
The space education centre and innovation hub of the state is located at Arunachal Pradesh Science Centre, Indira Gandhi Park at Itanagar.
The new facility has been developed by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) under the Union Ministry of Culture, Kolkata, and the Arunachal Pradesh State Council for Science and Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Government of Arunachal Pradesh.
The exciting features of the new science facility of the state includes Discovery Hall, Innovation Resource Centre and Hall of Fame, Innovation Lab, Design Studio and Space Education Centre (Planetarium), reports The Assam Tribune.
The Innovative Hub will help youths and children to enhance their knowledge in science and technology with fun and creative activities.
Moreover, the Innovation Hub will also provide the young minds with practical learning in science lessons and excite young minds about innovation for better future.
The opening of the Innovation Hub and Space Education Centre coincides with the three-day 18th All India Annual Conference of Heads of Science Centres/Museums commencing on Saturday at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre in Itanagar.
