Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate must be a distinguished academician. Minimum of ten years of experience as
Professor in a University system or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in reputed
research and/or academic administrative organization. Proven record of academic leadership. The person should possess the highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitments. He/She must be a visionary, strategist and a person with proven leadership qualities with the capabilities to take SMU to the league of top Universities in India.
Age Limit :
Below 65 years of age as on 31st August 2026
