He later worked as a director’s assistant for Yeh Jawani hai Deewani (2013) and then as a creative director for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).

His 2020 releases include Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which is his directorial debut and stars Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role.

He also directed the 2024 Hindi-language sports romantic drama Mr. & Mrs. Mahi.

He is preparing for his next directorial venture, 'Kuku Ki Kundli' featuring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles
