Dimapur: The Inner Line Regulation Commission (ILRC) of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has called a consultative meeting with all non-Naga organisations, associations, unions, welfare bodies, and stakeholder groups in Dimapur to discuss the implementation of the Inner Line Regulation (ILR) in Nagaland.
The meeting has been scheduled for 11 am on June 27 at a hotel in Walford Colony, Dimapur.
In a release issued on Monday, the federation said the consultation is being organised as part of the ILRC’s stakeholder engagement process to facilitate dialogue and gather the views, concerns, experiences, observations, and recommendations of non-local communities on matters relating to the implementation of the ILR in the state.
It urged the organisations to actively participate in the consultation and share the issues faced by their members, concerns regarding compliance mechanisms, administrative challenges, and suggestions for improving the implementation framework.
The inputs received during the consultation will be taken into consideration by the commission while formulating its recommendations, the release stated.
The federation also requested the organisations to confirm their participation with the commission on or before June 25.
It added that further details regarding participation and representation would be communicated upon confirmation of attendance.
