Pragjyotishpur University Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Faculty to teach PG students in the discipline of Performing Arts
Name of post : Faculty-Performing Arts
Qualification:
- M.A. in Performing Arts with specialization in Satriya Dance. Candidates having NET and/or Ph.D. will get preference.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. The faculty shall assume overall responsibility for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and effective functioning of the Department.
2. The faculty shall assist in admission processes, academic documentation, accreditation-related activities, and institutional academic planning.
3. The faculty shall be actively involved in the day-to-day academic, administrative, and
institutional activities of the University.
4. The faculty shall conduct and supervise theory and practical examinations in accordance with University rules and regulations.
5. The faculty shall evaluate assignments, academic performance, practical work, and
dissertations as per prescribed academic standards.
6. The faculty shall maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records, including student
performance and progress reports
