Assam State Museum Management Society (ASMMS) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the Late Rai Bahadur Naupat Rai Kedia Memorial Internship Programme for a period of 6 (six) months with effect from 1st March, 2026 to August 31st, 2026.
Name of post : Late Rai Bahadur Naupat Rai Kedia Memorial Internship Programme
Eligibility Criteria :
Post Graduate in Museology, History, Art History, Archaeology, Sanskrit from any recognized
university. The knowledge of Canva and other design software will be an added advantage.
Job Roles :
1. Research & Identification of Sculptures, inscriptions.
2. Reorganisation of Categorised Accession Register
3. Gallery Development. The museum has a large collection of sculptures spread across different levels on the ground floor of the museum gallery
Remuneration: Rs 15,000 per month (fixed lump sum)
