Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif was in Guwahati on Sunday inaugurate a Kalyan Jewellers showroom at Christanbasti area on GS Road .
This is not the actor’s first visit to the city.
Her presence at the busy GS Road held up the traffic for a while on the arterial route, when the traffic is usually sparse on Sundays. A podium was erected on the road near the showroom so fans could see her.
Hundreds of youngsters gathered in the area to catch a glimpse of the diva. Ambulances to private vehicles had a harrowing time with passing the road.
