After that, the VC of the Kokrajhar-based Bodoland University has submitted a letter to the State Governor seeking formation of a vigilance committee to probe into the allegations levelled against him.

Talking to Northeast Now in this regard, Dr Baruah on Wednesday said, “A particular Assamese daily has brought allegations of corruptions against me without any basis which has hurt me. They continue to publish such news reports only to stain in my career. Finally, feeling mentally disturbed I decided to send this letter.”
