Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) under National Health Mission (NHM), believed to be the first of its kind in Arunachal Pradesh was officially launched by Health and Family Welfare minister Alo Libang here on Saturday.

As of now, NHM is the only directorate in the state that has implemented HRMIS for overall management of human resources.

The minister on the day approved the payment of salary for contractual HR under NHM online while expressing satisfaction on the milestone achieved by the department.

He also urged other directors for adopting the system on priority. With this innovation, he hoped that all HR will continue to be motivated for achieving time bound targets set under NHM.

Libang also congratulated the NHM team lead by NHM MD, Dr Tapasya Raghav, nodal officer, Dr D Padung, HMIS consultant Haiwang Wangsu and state finance manager, Arup Paul for making this dream come true and for meeting one of the most important key conditionalities set by NITI Aayog and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Mission Director, Dr Tapasya Raghav informed that the IT solution adopted will ensure transparency in the work and timely disbursement of staff salary through PFMS platform across all the districts and programs under the Mission.

She further stated that timely payment of salary is important to motivate staff working in far flung areas of the state adding that the system will help in overall management of the health department.

“As the implementation progresses, the leave management, promotion, training status and requirements, transfer, postings etc of all the staff will be transparently implemented,” she added.

Director of Health Services Dr M Lego, DME Dr R D Khrime, NHM nodal officer Dr D Padung and other directors of the department were present on the day.
