A four-day summer arts and craft workshop, conducted by Lotus Fine Art and Craft School of Tangla.

In an effort to engage the budding minds and tap their creativity the workshop was held at the Adarsha Vidyapith school premises on Saturday.

The workshop attended by nearly 80 participants of all age group was inaugurated by Educationist, Dr. Hariram Das.

Resource persons Bihuram Boro,Pabitra Basumatari and Somnath Basumatari will attend the workshop.

The chief instructor of the school, Ranjul Kr. Sutradhar said, “The participant would be taught the craft of mask making along with woolen doll making and creating decors with waste materials.”

The students were also taught the craft of paper-cutting, flower making and drawing portraits and sceneries in the workshop.

An art exhibition was also held, inaugurated by physician of Orang Civil Hospital, Dr. Lakhan Kr. Boro.
