National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Interns under the project titled “Development and Testing of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Assisted Hybrid Double-Slope Desalination Solar Still for Off-grid Rural – North East India” under SERB, Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, (File No.: CRG/2021/007864) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is one among the thirty-one NITs in India which came into being under the NIT Act 2007 (Amended 2012) of the Parliament of India as Institutes of National Importance with full funding support from the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India. Its mission is to be a Centre of Excellence vibrant with academic activities and bubbling with youthful creative energy. The institute hopes to make significant contribution to the World of Knowledge and Technology and to the Development of the State, the Region and the Nation.

Qualification : Pursuing B.E. / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering in the Pre-Final year or Final year. A minimum of 60% marks at the preceding degree/course.
Emoluments : Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand) only per month
