Lutuma FC of Guwahati defeated ACE’s FC by 6-1 goals to lift the Decathlon Kipsta Cup five a Side football tournament on Sunday, held at Decathlon play area, Azara.

The event which was organized in association with Sportscraft Management saw 28 teams across the state fighting for this championship of football’s shorter format.

Champions Lutuma FC went away with trophy and cash prize of 15000 rupees while runner up ACES took home trophy and cash prize of 10000 Rupees.

Migum Kuli of Jalukbari FC was selected the Star Player while Sibra Narzary of HQ Maligaon emerged as the top scorer of the tournament. Pragyan Medhi of Lutuma FC scored 4 goals in the final.

Noted Coach and ex player Bijay Sonowal gave away the prizes in the closing ceremony of the tournament, supported by Guwahati City FC (GCFC).

Champions Lutuma FC has dedicated their win to their ex player Sumit Rabha who passed away after battling kidney failure recently.

Budding free-style footballer Bijoy Tamang also performed some breathtaking freestyle skills during the event.
