Numerous trees and bamboo groves were uprooted in villages like Abor Leku, Mangnang, Baromile, Linka, Mikong, Silley, and Sika Tode, falling across a two-kilometer stretch of National Highway 15 near Poba reserve forest.
This disruption caused severe traffic congestion as vehicles, including trucks, tankers, and buses, were stranded on the road.
The storm also damaged electric poles and lines, leading to a complete power outage in the affected area. Efforts by foresters and power department staff were underway to clear the debris and restore essential services.

The storm also impacted the power grid in the area. A 132KV transmission line between Aalo and Pasighat was damaged, causing widespread power cuts in downstream districts. Restoration work is expected to take several days, depending on weather conditions.
