Dibrugarh: In a proud moment for Assam’s Dibrugarh University, four of its National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers have been selected as special guests to attend the 78th Independence Day celebrations at the iconic Red Fort in New Delhi.

Kabyajyoti Gogoi from Nakachari College, Anisha Dey from Sibsagar College, Ganga Gogoi from Moran College, and Kunal Agarwal from Dibrugarh University will represent the state as part of an eight-member Assam delegation.

Dibrugarh University extended its heartfelt congratulations to the four students. Vice Chancellor Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Registrar Dr. Paramananda Sonowal, Dean of Student Affairs Prof. Surajit Borkotokey, and NSS Programme Coordinator Prof. Devid Kardong, along with the entire university community, wished the volunteers a memorable experience at the national event.
