The global taxi services – OLA and UBER Auto-Taxi service, so far known only people of the State going outside or in metropolitan towns, is all set to hit the streets of Tripura.
The services proposed to be provided by the two global giants include pre-paid auto and taxi service at Agartala airport, railway station and to and from other destinations.

The under secretary in the department of Transport, Government of Tripura, Dr Debamita kilikdar has convened a meeting of ‘all concerned’ to discuss the issue threadbare in her official chamber on June 23 at 11-00 am.
Sources in the transport department said that all issues pertaining to the introduction and smooth continuance of the service will be discussed in the meeting on June 23.
