Around 81 meritorious students were felicitated on Tuesday, at the premises of Dwarkuchuchi High School by Gandhibari police.
The felicitation ceremony was organized by Rajen Boro, who is in charge of Gandhibari police out post under Baksa district.
All the students who were felicitated excelled in the HSLC examination from various schools of the locality. They appeared for the exam at Dwarkuchi High School HSLC examination centre.
Superintendent of Police Binay Kumar Kalita spoke on the occasion about students being the future citizens of the country. They play a vital role in transforming our society. They must discharge their duties responsibly.
Baruakanta Brahma, vice president of Tamulpur District Bodo Sahitya Sabha presided over the meeting and conducted by Munindra Deka, teacher of Adarsha Sishu Niketon Dwarkuchi.

The students were felicitated with Gamosa, citation and a plant.
In the meeting headmaster of feeder high schools of Dwarkuchui High School HSLC examination centre, Upendra Nath Sarma, in charge of Tamulpur police station, Dilip Das, COVDO of Tamulpur PS area along with teachers, intellectuals and activists of various students organizations of the locality participated.
Local people praised Rajen Boro for his attempt to encourage the students.
