Parents of the students of Don Bosco School in Kokrajhar expressed their concern over the poor performance in High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination and Higher Secondary (HS) final examination and demanded transfer of the existing school principal Fr Domian Basumatary, who is also the Father of Kokrajhar Don Bosco to improve the quality of education in the school.

More than four hundred parents and guardians thronged to the school premises held a discussion with Fr Damián Basumatary.

The guardians alleged that the school fees have increased suddenly while the HSLC and Class 12 results of the school were very poor.

The parents on Saturday come out in large numbers against school principal and sought quality education in the school.

The parents, who gheraoed the Father-cum-principal of the school, alleged that the school administration has totally failed to give quality education in the school.

The parents also demanded transfer of Fr Damián Basumatary and decrease in the school fees.

Meanwhile, the school principal said the school administration was trying to provide quality education in the school.
