Guwahati: With the Declaration of the much-awaited Assam Higher Secondary (HS) exam results 2023, one particular institute, namely, Ramanujan Senior Secondary School (Ramanujan Junior College) has once again grabbed the headlines with 19 ranks.  

Ramanujan Senior Secondary School in Nagaon has achieved remarkable success in the recently announced results for the Higher Secondary (HS) Examination conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC).

The institution has produced a total of 19 rank holders in both the Science and Arts streams.

In the Science stream, the students from Ramanujan Senior Secondary School have secured an impressive 11 positions. The following are the students who have achieved ranks in the HS exam:

1. Nikhilesh Dutta – First Rank with 484 Marks

2. Areejeet Roy – Second Rank with 482 Marks

3. Biswajyoti Das – Second Rank with 482 Marks

4. Rishab Upadhyay – Second Rank with 482 Marks

5. Prarthana Priyam Saikia – Third Rank with 479 Marks

6. Satyajit Kaman – Fourth Rank with 478 Marks

7. Bhargav Shivam – Sixth Rank with 473 Marks

8. Bikash Jyoti Saharia – Seventh Rank with 472 Marks

9. Satarupa Borkakati – Eighth Rank with 471 Marks

10. Krisha Deka – Tenth Rank with 469 Marks

11. Abhilasha Himashree Das – Tenth Rank with 469 Marks

On the other hand, in the Arts stream, the students from Ramanujan Senior Secondary School have excelled with eight rank holders. The following are the students who have secured ranks in the HS exam:

1. Sankalpajit Saikia – First Rank with 490 Marks

2. Diya Mahanta – Second Rank with 488 Marks

3. Suklenmung Chetia – Fourth Rank with 486 Marks

4. Sekh Sania Tasnim Rohman – Fifth Rank with 482 Marks

5. Swabnam Saikia – Seventh Rank with 480 Marks

6. Jerifa Ahmed – Eighth Rank with 479 Marks

7. Mrinmoy Kumar Borah – Tenth Rank with 476 Marks

8. Raktima Patar – Tenth Rank with 476 Marks

A total of 3,29,901 students appeared for the exam, out of which 2,40,431 students successfully passed. The pass percentages for each stream are as follows: 70.12% in the Arts stream, 79.57% in the Commerce stream, and 84.96% in the Science stream.

Breaking down the results for the Arts stream, 28,651 students achieved first division, 58,869 students secured second division, and 95,660 students obtained third division.

In the Commerce stream, 5,254 students received first division, 6,486 students attained second division, and 4,505 students were awarded third division.

Within the Science stream, 18,868 students accomplished first division, 16,455 students obtained the second division, and 4,082 students secured the third division.

These statistics highlight the performance of students across the different streams, indicating their respective pass percentages and the distribution of divisions achieved.
