Each year, the Global Peace Index analyzes the safest, most peaceful, as well as which are the most dangerous nations.

The GPI evaluates a total of 23 indicators to compile the list, sorted into three distinct categories: militarization, safety and security, and domestic and international conflict.

Ireland scored 1.288 as per Global Peace Index (GPI) 2022 score from the eighth position last year

Denmark scores 1.296 Global Peace Index (GPI) 2022 score. The country ranks as the fourth for political stability, freedom of press, income equality, and human rights

Austria scores 1.300 Global Peace Index (GPI) 2022 score making it the fifth most peaceful country in the world.
