Garlic milk
might sound unusual and yucky to taste but is actually
quite
beneficial for the body
according to ancient Ayurvedic texts
Ayurveda expert
Dr. Rekha Radhamony
has shared a recipe of garlic milk which she claims is from Caraka Samhita Chikitsa Sthana
To prepare garlic milk, you will need
5 g garlic, 50 ml milk and 50 ml water
Add
garlic paste to milk and water
and boil it until the whole quantity is reduced to 50 ml
Strain and drink 10 ml after food twice daily
Dr. Radhamony
even warns that garlic milk is a medicine so you should not consume it daily forever.
She said that you can have this
garlic milk
for a few days and then stop it.
Garlic milk is good for subsiding
gas,
bloating, abdominal cramps and constipation
