National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is observing the 29th Road Safety week from 23-30th April 2018.
Awareness Campaign was held on Monday at Ch. 149.000 of National Highway (NH) 54E Songbung Village of Dima Hasao district where Nishanta Das, young professional (Tech) NHAI, Amit Singh, Resident Engineer, Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats (ICT Pvt. Ltd.) and Basudev Panthi, Project Manager, NKC-JKM(JV) of Package AS 22 and contractor’s crew were present.
The campaign was held to create awareness among the drivers where measures of road safety were elaborated.The proper documentation of the vehicles and drivers was also checked and verified.
In Haflong, District Transport Department also observed the road safety week.
