Tech company Nothing is all set to launch its first smartphone Phone (1) in India as well as the global market on July 12, 2022
The much hyped electronic product is set to be launch at an event in London and people from India can watch it virtually as it will be live streamed on the company’s official website
The Carl Pei headed tech company will be showcasing the launch event of its second product globally from 8:30PM IST
Nothing Phone (1) features a transparent back with a unique mechanical design composed of over 400 components
The design of the smartphone was inspired from the works of artist Massimo Vignelli who had designed New York’s subway map
According to a blog on Nothing website, the Phone (1) has a 100% recycled light and robust aluminium frame and 50% of plastic components are made with bio-based or post-consumer recycled materials
It features a Glyph Interface that promises to increase the functionality in such a way that it becomes more user-friendly
The Nothing Phone (1) has a dual rear camera system on the back with a 50-megapixel primary lens whereas the front side will have a single camera for selfies and video calls
The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 778+ SoC processor and will run on Nothing OS with the latest Android version out of the box
Meanwhile, the actual price of the Nothing Phone(1) hasn’t been revealed yet and will be known once it launches officially today
