Security forces on Wednesday nabbed two rebels belonging to Songbijit faction of the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) from Haltugaon forest area in Kokrajhar district.
The arrested two rebels have been identified as Konjit Basumatary, 23, and Shankar Basumatary, 25, of Serfanguri area in the district.

Acting on an intelligence input, a team of police and Army launched a joint operation in the wee hours in the area and nabbed the two rebels, a police official said.
A pistol, one revolver, nine rounds of ammunition and cash Rs 1400 were found on them.
The official said that the two arrested rebels were involved in various subversive activities in the area.
