Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma accused the Congress of plotting a conspiracy to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi by planning the recent security breach in Punjab.

The Assam Chief Minister accusing this demanded immediate arrest of Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.

Sarma based on a sting operation by a news channel claimed that the road blockade in front of PM’s convoy on that day was a part of a conspiracy to kill the PM.

He claimed that the news channel’s sting operation made it clear that the entire situation of the day was sponsored.

He added that the blockade was not just a simple farmers’ protest but it was a conspiracy and the Punjab government was fully involved in it.

“The Punjab CM should immediately be removed from his seat and be arrested”, he added.

Claiming that the convoy of the PM was just a few kilometres away from the Pakistan border, Sarma said that the convoy was at a range of missiles, drone attacks and even snipers.

He said that even radical groups including “Khalistanis” were involved in the conspiracy.
